BRANDING

I create branding that blends strategy with creativity, building visual identities that are bold, memorable, and designed to connect. Every detail is intentional, helping your brand stand out and stay recognizable. If you want it to lean more neon, playful, or a little more luxury energy, I can tune it perfectly to match your exact site vibe.

Lily’s Sugar and Swirl

Lily’s Sugar & Swirl is a fictional confectionery brand inspired by my niece, Lily Mae. The design embraces childlike whimsy with a palette of soft pastels, playful shapes, and sweet treats like cotton candy and ice cream. The intention was to evoke nostalgia and capture that magical feeling of being a kid when life felt simple, fun, and full of color. This project demonstrates brand continuity through packaging, menus, and promotional graphics. It also challenged me stylistically, pushing me out of my usual comfort zone and encouraging more imaginative design choices. Creating Lily’s Sugar & Swirl helped me grow as a designer by developing a cohesive visual identity while exploring a more expressive and vibrant aesthetic. As you can see from my design process, the original idea doesn’t always become the final design.

J&C Art Supply Co.

J&C Art Supply Co. is a fictional brand created in Illustrator for a community art store that serves both adults and children. The company concept focuses on sustainability, encouraging creativity without producing unnecessary waste. The project features a bright and playful identity built around reusable shopping bags, an art supply lending library, and an educational mission that supports families and local artists.

The design is based on primary colors with a focus on red, blue, and yellow. I was also required to incorporate ABC blocks into the branding. I used them as a central visual theme to create a sense of childhood nostalgia while still appealing to adult artists. This balance helped shape the logo, pattern elements, and promotional graphics. This project allowed me to explore clean, simple branding that still feels friendly and meaningful. I practiced vector illustration, typography choices, and layout planning for both print and packaging. The result is a playful yet practical brand identity that communicates creativity, community, and sustainable values.

White Pine Books

This branding refresh was created for White Pine Books, a local bookstore known for its cozy atmosphere, whimsical style, and beloved shop cats. I wanted the visuals to feel like a small-town storybook hideaway tucked in the valley of White Pine, so I focused on warm colors, playful typography, and illustrated cats inspired by the two real bookstore mascots. This project was one of my first steps into branding and it helped me learn how to build visual identity through Adobe Illustrator and InDesign while honoring a real place and its personality.
